It is a privilege to provide medical care for your children. I bring 35 years of pediatric experience to the workplace. My goals as a PA include providing high quality care medical care in an efficient, hassle-free way packaged in excellent customer service. An area of special interest and certification is that of Lactation and Feeding, which provides a valuable service to our families at ABC and to the community. In my free time, I hike, camp, backpack, and travel with my husband, children and grandchildren. Long term life goals are to continually explore, learn, grow and change.
My favorite part of caring for the patients at ABC Pediatrics is getting to know each family and watching your children grow over time. Being a mom of two young daughters myself, I can relate to the joy and challenges of parenting. I love my job, and I am so honored to care for your beautiful children! On my days off, I am usually playing outside in the sunshine with my husband, Steven, and our two girls, Gracie and Essi.
I love being a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. I have been involved caring for women and their families my entire career as an OB/GYN nurse, a labor and delivery nurse, a childbirth educator, a nursing educator and now a certified Nurse Practitioner. I have a Master's Degree in Nursing from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. I was born in Virginia, growing up my family resided in several different states from coast to coast. In 1987, I settled in Colorado Springs enjoying hiking with my dog, gardening, and photographing local wildlife and scenery.
All my life I had a passion for health care. I have provided care in some aspect of health for more than twenty years. As a nurse, I have worked in all areas, from administration to the bedside with a special interest in children and adult health. When I decided to complete my Advanced Practice Degree, I knew that family health would be ideal for me.
