AboutI have always enjoyed opportunities to make a difference in the health and fitness of my community. Caring for others has driven me towards the healthcare field since I was a teenage volunteer growing up in a small town in Alaska, which is where my interest in medicine began. I have had some great experiences providing care in all environments to include: the quiet setting of home healthcare in Alaska, the non-stop adrenaline of critical post-operative cardiovascular care at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, and proudly serving at community Centered Medical Homes for our US Military Service Members, their families and veterans. Knowing that I positively impact the health of my patients, their families, and those around me is what motivates me to continue to be a great care provider for my patients. While I enjoy my time working as a Family Nurse Practitioner, I also value the importance of taking care of myself and my family. I am a proud Army spouse and mother of two children and also enjoying my first pet ever, a Goldendoodle. I enjoy cooking a variety of healthy foods, exercising for health and strength, traveling, exploring our oceans and mountains, and volunteering to support military families and my children. I am enjoying and look forward to continuing to serve our growing patient population alongside my exceptionally talented and supportive colleagues and skilled and caring nursing and administrative staff in order to better the health of our patients.
