I began my nursing career more than 30 years ago because I truly enjoy helping others. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at University of Miami and later received a Master in Nursing from University of Washington as a Nurse Midwife. After retiring from the US Air Force, I made the decision to pursue my post-masters education as a Family Nurse Practitioner through University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. During my career, I have worked in women's health, pediatric, and family practice settings. I enjoy all aspects of family practice and care for patients in all age groups. I especially like helping others achieve their health care goals through education and mutual goal setting. 

On a more personal note, I was born in Japan to a military family and grew up in California and Florida. While living in Florida, I met my wonderful husband and began my military career that allowed our family to experience living in several states and Japan before settling in Colorado. Outside of work I enjoy gardening, travel, and spending time with my family, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. I am excited to join Mountain View Medical Group and look forward to providing exceptional health care.
