I grew up in Sioux Falls, SD where I attended Augustana College studying Biology, Philosophy, running Track and Field, and Cross-Country. I went on to complete Medical School at the University of South Dakota and my Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Residency at the University of Nebraska before moving to Colorado Springs in the fall of 2018. Along they way, I taught high school, played fiddle in an indy band, and traveled to various countries doing medical work and cultivating a global perspective in medicine. My professional interests include teaching, nutrition, exploring healthy and sustainable lifestyles, and helping kiddos see the beauty and goodness in life and in themselves. Outside of work, I enjoy book clubs, all things outdoors, and coffee shopping.
